The traditional ruler of Agurodo in Ejigbo Local Government Area of Osun State, Oba Joseph Oyerogba Idowu II, has joined his ancestors.
Oba Idowu II, who ascended the throne following the demise of his predecessor, the late Oba Joseph Olaleye, in April 1994, passed on Saturday.
Though no official announcement has been made but multiple sources confirmed the monarch’s death.
His demise brought to an end to a significant era in the history of Agurodo.
The monarch was widely respected for his commitment to community development and cultural preservation. His reign witnessed remarkable peace and unity in Agurodo, a town steeped in tradition and ancestral heritage.
