Oyo state candidate at the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) south west zonal congress, Alhaji Taofeek Arapaja emerged Zonal Chairmanship of the party.
In a keenly contested election, the former deputy governor pooled 343 votes to defeat his opponent Eddy Olafeso with 330 votes,
The total number of accredited delegate voters are 667 while total number of voided votes are 10.
