The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has officially announced the date and venue for its 2025 gubernatorial primary election in Osun State. This follows the completion of the party’s ad-hoc and national delegate congresses held on November 24 and 29, 2025.
In a public notice signed by the National Organising Secretary, Hon. Theophilus Dakas Shan, the party reaffirmed that the primary election to elect its gubernatorial flagbearer will take place on:
- Date: 2nd December, 2025
- Venue: Atlantis Multipurpose Hall, Ring Road, Osogbo, Osun State
- Time: 10:00am
According to the statement, the Electoral Committee responsible for supervising the primaries has been duly constituted and will ensure a transparent and orderly process.
The party also cautioned aspirants cleared for the contest to conduct themselves in accordance with the PDP constitution, emphasizing that any act of indiscipline will attract strict sanctions in the interest of law and order.
