Hon Akinwale Akinwole, Chairman Ogbomoso United Football Club has described the return of the shooting star football club to the National Premier Football League as evidence of Governor Makinde’s fruitful investment in Sports development

The Ogbomoso born football enthusiasts popularly known as Wolekanle commended the governor Engineer Oluseyi Makinde for boosting the morale of the stakeholders in sports through visible upgrading and remodeling of stadiums across the state and proper funding of the state-owned teams

Akinwole while hailing the management of shooting stars for putting in their best in ensuring they restored the lost glory of the team said they should not relent in their strides.

“This is a high moment for us in Oyo state and I am optimistic that things will continue to go on for good because our visionary Governor, Engineer Oluseyi Makinde is determined to make Oyo state better and greater, let us continue to cooperate and pray for him to succeed
