The National Assembly on Tuesday observed a minute of silence in honor of Hon. Temi Adibi, a former lawmaker and immediate past Director-General of the Oyo State Signage Agency, who passed away on January 21 at the age of 64.
The tribute followed an announcement by Hon. Olaminuwonlo Alao-Akala, the lawmaker representing Ogbomoso North, South, and Oriire Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives.
Hon. Ayodeji Alao-Akala, in a statement, noted that the plenary session, presided over by Deputy Speaker Rt. Hon. Ben Kalu, paid respect to the late Adibi, who represented Ogbomoso North, South, and Oriire Federal Constituency from 1999 to 2003.
“The House observed a one-minute silence in his honor. May his soul rest in peace,” the statement read.
Hon. Adibi, who previously served as a council chairman, was a well-known political figure in Oyo State. His passing has been met with tributes from political associates and constituents.
