Excitement filled the area of Padre area of Ode-Aje, Ibadan as members trooped out massively to receive Senatorial Candidate of PDP for Oyo South Mogaji Joseph Olasunkanmi Tegbe.
Tegbe’s visit to the General meeting of the party in the local government concluded his familiarization tour to the 9 Local Government in the Senatorial District.
The event had in attendance party leaders, faithfuls and well wishers from the 12 wards in Ibadan North East LGA.
While recieving Tegbe, the party chairman noted that the entrance of Tegbe into the party has further energised the party. He noted that his emergence as candidate and his commitment to the welfare of members has boosted the morale of party members which was as dampened by the style of the current Senator.
In his comment, Hon Abass Agboworin who represents Ibadan SouthEast/NorthEast Federal Constituency in the National Assembly joined party leaders to welcome Mogaji Tegbe to the PDP. He noted that the impact of Tegbe has been felt within the short time he joined PDP, attracting gladiators from APC and other parties. He expressed confidence that Ibadan North East will deliver for Engr Seyi Makinde, Tegbe and all other PDP candidates.
Tegbe thanked the party members for the support he has received since he joined the PDP. He assured them that if given the mandate, he’d redefine representation in the district. He restated his commitment to the welfare of party members before and after the election.
Mogaji earlier Tegbe met leaders and stakeholders at the residence of Hon Bayo Lawal, the Director-General for the reelection campaign team of Governor Seyi Makinde where party leaders took turns to extol the virtues of the Senatorial candidate and express their total commitment to his emergence, as well as the reelection of Engr Seyi Makinde and other legislators on the platform of the party.
