The founder of the one love family, Sat Guru Maharaji has on Saturday express his satisfaction towards the act of the presidency by not releasing Mallam El – zakyzaky who is the leader of the Islamic movement of Nigeria otherwise known as the Shittes group.
Sat. Guru marahji who made this claim while addressing Newsmen in a press briefing about topical issues in the country added that the operation of the Islamic group is a threat to Nigeria security network.
It could be recalled that members of the shittes group attack the federal capital territory, Abuja earlier this week staging series of protests which claim the lives of scores prominently involving the FCT Deputy commissioner of Police in charge of Operations DCP Usman Umar and a reporter of the Channels television.
Maharaji added that the attack on the chief of army staff which kickstarted the whole issue is symbolically a coup to security in the country.
“This cannot happen in the United States.
Shittes is a political group and It is craziness for someone to fight the government without going through the legal means.
If Iran says they should release him there is no problem with that but the manner of which they are operating doesn’t calls for his release.
No manner of pressure can make the president put the law into his hand”
Sat. Guru added that if the presidency will release Mallam El-zakyzaky in any case, he should be compelled to sign an undertaking of peace and never to be a threat to the security of the federation.
Mallam El-zakyzaky was arrested in 2015 when his group had a clash with Nigeria chief of Army Staff Gen. Tukur Buratai in Kaduna.
In the same vein, Sat. Guru Marahji while prescribing solution to the issue of Insecurity in the country advised President Muhammad Buhari and Governor of the southwest states to endeavour into making use of state and community policing.
He added that All kings in the Yoruba land should be consulted, the Agbekoya and the vigilante group should also be empowered and funded to make sure the issue of Insecurity is permanently curbed.
