*Oyelade illuminates Oyo State in new book*
Three years after the publication of his 9th book, Prince Dotun Oyelade, the Commissioner for Information, Oyo State, is set to launch KNOW OYO STATE.
The book, serves as a comprehensive guide and reference material on Oyo State, capturing the history, culture, geography, achievements, people and institutions of the State.
Rich in details and educational value, the book can rightly be described as the “Encyclopaedia on Oyo State.”
The book will be publicly presented on Wednesday, 25th June, 2025, at the Emeritus Prof. Theophilus Ogunlesi Hall, opposite UCH, Ibadan, by 10am.
The Chief Host is His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Seyi Makinde, while the Special Guests are Chief Adebayo Adelabu (Minister of Power, Federal Republic of Nigeria), Chief Zacchaeus Adedeji (Executive Chairman, FIRS) and Alhaji Ahmed Raji SAN (Baba Adinni of Oke-Ogun, Oyo State).
Others are the Special Guests of Honour; Senator Rashidi Ladoja (Former Governor of Oyo State) and Maj. Gen. Oladayo Popoola (Former Military Governor of Oyo State).
All Senators, House of Representatives and State Assembly Members in Oyo State will also grace the occasion.
The Reviewer of the book is the Nigeria Union of Teachers (NUT) State Secretary, Comrade Kayode Salami.
