As the Nigeria National League for 2018/2019 season commences on Wednesday, the Oyo State Chapter of the Sports Writers Association of Nigeria under the leadership of Mr Niyi Alebiosu has charged the two club sides from the Pace Setter State competing at the second tier league to ensure that they secure promotion back to the elite division of the Nigerian league this season.

In a press statement signed by the Association’s State Chairman, Mr Niyi Alebiosu and his Secretary, Mr Adewale Tijani, the umbrella body of professional sports writers in the state advised the players and coaching crew of Shooting Stars Sports Club of Ibadan and Crown Football Club of Ogbomoso to remain focused and set their minds on achieving their targets.

Oyo SWAN also enjoins the management of two teams to do everything possible to motivate the players and their coaching crew so as to make them achieve their desires.

While reminding the two club sides that their teeming supporters expect nothing short of promotion to NPFL from them, Oyo SWAN urged the Oluyole Warriors and Ajilete Lads not to disappoint their loyal fans.
