Oyo Assembly Holds Public Hearing Amotekun Bill Tomorrow

2020 budget passes second reading

Oyo State House of Assembly will stage a public hearing on a bill for a law to establish the State Security Network Agency and Amotekun Corps to assist in maintaining law and order in the state as well as for other matters connected therewith.

According to a public notice issued by the clerk of the house Mrs Oyediran the event which will commence at 11am will hold House of Chiefs, Parliament Buildings,Agodi Secretariat, Ibadan.

She maintained that copy of the bill can be obtained by interested members of the public at room 102, Old Office Complex, House of Assembly

it would be recalled that other state in the south west including Ondo, Ekiti have passed the bill into law and by next week all the state will have the bill signed by the state governors and the Amotekun corps will start operation
