Over 2000 members of All Progressives Congress and other parties are set to dump the party for the Peoples Democratic Party on Friday in Ogbomoso.

The decampees which cut Ogbomoso North and South are supporters of Hon Segun Ogunwuyi a National Assembly member, Alhaji Rasaq Gbegesin a Deputy chief of staff to former governor Alao Akala and Hon Temi Adibi, a former House of Reps member.

It was also learnt that some members of Accord and Labour Party are moving to PDP

The trio and their supporters were among the aggrieved APC members that are not comfortable with the way APC leadership handled the affairs of the party in the state.

An inside source told our reporter that the trio and other prominent politicians in ogbomoao refuses to join African Democratic Congress ADC like some of the members of Unity Forum because.

Ogunwuyi was listed among the federal lawmakers that decamped at the plenary on tuesday.

A Chieftain of the Peoples Democratoc Party PDP who did not want his name in print said ‘they are returning home, we are happy and they will be warmly accepted into the party because their coming will boost the chances of PDP in ogbomoso and beyond.

The former declaration date will be fixed by the state executives but some of them party chieftains in the state will be at the meeting which will be held at Masifa area in Ogbomoso
