How Father, Mother Five Children Died After Eating Amala in Ikoyi, Oyo State

Tragedy struck in Ikoyi headquarters of Oriire local government area of Ogbomoso zone in Oyo state last week as a  family of seven reportedly died after eating Amala in  Ikoyi headquarter of Oriire local government area of Oyo state.

The victims includes father, mother their five children among whom were a set of twins.

According to a report obtained from ogbomosoinsight.com, the mother was said to have prepared the meal after which members of the family who all took part in the eating started to feel discomfiture leading to the death of three at the instant.

Others were rushed to a teaching hospital but they could not be restored as they all died one after the other with the last two said to have given up the ghost on Wednesday.

“It is tragic, the last two died yesterday,” a resident of the community who however withheld his name told ogbomosoinsightonline.com.

Meanwhile a resident of Ikoyi who spoke with ogbomosoinsightonline.com averred that it could be a case of poisoning saying “after all, others have been eating amala since then and nothing happened.”

Six of the victims have been buried while autopsy will be conducted on the remaining one to ascertain the real cause of their death before being buried

    Goodday, this sorry you posted sometimes ago, do you know that an innocent boy is presently in jail for the the purported murder of the people who died from eating the poisonous Amala? A boy by name Onah James is in Abolongo prison oyo for over a year now with no trial. Plz use your good office to look into the case.
