The Federation of Oyo State Student’s Union (FOSSU) National Council under the leadership of the *outgoing President, Comrade Azeez Sharafudeen Akano (Pa-Biafra)* congratulates Prof. Daud Sangodoyin, Oyo State Commissioner for Education, Science and Technology on his assumption into office to cater for the proper needs of education related matters in the state and absolute welfarism of students at large.
The President in his words says “it’s never a mistake, when a king assumes the throne and never a sin to see a soldier handling the gun, it’s just only a professional calling, Prof. Sangodoyin is never a misfit to man the affair of education in the state, he’s a best hand on that desk”
He further expresses that, it’s important to note that, education at all level in our state is on the precipice, as the recent national ranking is calling for total overhauling.
“it’s of our strong belief that, our amiable Professor Sangodoyin is capacitated and has from time proving to us, his ability to make a turn and change the narrative of the recent years in the educational sector of the state.” The President said.
While charging the erudite scholar to duty, he equally calls his attention to look into the way, the government of the state could make proper intervention in area of funding the state owned institutions, so as to correct abnormalities in the way our schools are being running.
“We committed you into the mighty hand of God for divine guidance, knowledge and resounding health to deliver and make unprecedented records in the affair of the state education.” –
