The family of the late Madam Ibironke Omotayo Oladoye (née Adegunju) has announced the burial programme for their beloved matriarch, who passed away on June 24, 2025, at the age of 74.
According to a statement released by the family, a Christian Wake Keep will hold on Thursday, November 6, 2025, at Shiloh Baptist Church, opposite Aare Ago High School, Ogbomoso, beginning at 4:30 p.m.
This will be followed by the Lying-in-State on Friday, November 7, 2025, at Grace House, opposite Aso Rock Hotel, Papa Ajiboye, Ogbomoso, starting at 8:00 a.m.
The Funeral Service will take place the same day at 10:00 a.m. at Shiloh Baptist Church, after which interment will follow immediately at her residence, Grace House, Papa, Ogbomoso.
A reception for guests will hold at Henlea Event Centre, Ayelowa Oke Anu, Ogbomoso, immediately after the burial. The family also announced the dress code for the occasion as “Glamour and Smile.”
Born in 1951, Madam Ibironke Omotayo Oladoye was a devoted Christian, loving mother, and community builder. She retired as a teacher and was widely admired for her humility, generosity, and unwavering faith in God.
She is survived by her husband, Prince Sunday Oladimeji Oladoye, and children including Professor Segun Oladoye, Remi Oladoye JP (Publisher, National Insight), Dayo Oladoye, Titilayo Akindibohun (née Oladoye), and Adeola Omotoyosi Siyanbade (née Oladoye).
