The League Of Veteran Journalists ( LVJ ) , Oyo State Council, will on Thursday, May 28, 2026 , elect it’s new executives.
In a press release issued and signed by the Chairman of the LVJ Electoral Committee, Veteran Shola Akinuli and Secretary, Veteran Omodele Idris, the election will hold at the LVJ House, NUJ Press Centre, Simeon Adebo Avenue, Iyaganku, Ibadan, at 2 p.m., and the new executives sworn-in immediately after.
Interested candidates will vie for the following positions: Chairman, Vice – Chairman, Secretary, Assistant Secretary, Treasurer, Publicity Secretary, Social Secretary, Internal Auditor and Welfare Officer respectively.
The release further stated that interested candidates are to collect nomination forms which were already available at the State LVJ House , NUJ Press Centre, Simeon Adebo Avenue, Iyaganku, Ibadan.
Equally, submission of nomination forms will close on April 30, 2026.
“Campaigns will start on 1st May , 2026 and end on 21st May , 2026 “, it added.
