Hon. Olamide Davies Talabi, founder of the Olamide Davies Foundation, has described the death of former President Muhammadu Buhari as a profound national loss, stating that his passing marks the end of an era in Nigeria’s democratic and political history.

Reacting to the news of the former president’s death in a condolence message issued in Abuja, the Ogun State-born APC chieftain paid glowing tribute to Buhari’s life of service, integrity, and dedication to the Nigerian nation.

“Ex-President Muhammadu Buhari’s death is a profound national loss. He was a leader who stood firm in his convictions, a man of uncommon discipline, and a symbol of hope for many across the country. His legacy of commitment to national unity, anti-corruption, and public service will endure,” she said.

Hon. Davies Talabi extended her heartfelt condolences to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the Buhari family, the people of Katsina State, and all Nigerians mourning the passing of the former leader.

She urged citizens to draw inspiration from Buhari’s leadership and uphold the values of honesty, patriotism, and nation-building that he championed throughout his lifetime.

The former president died on Sunday, July 13, 2025, at a London clinic after a prolonged illness and is expected to be buried in his hometown, Daura, in accordance with Islamic rites.
