AWA Seeks APC Chairmen’s Support, Pledges Quality Representation for Oyo Central

Dr Ademola Wasiu Alli (AWA), a frontline APC chieftain and senatorial hopeful, has appealed to party chairmen in the 11 local government of Oyo Central Senatorial District for their support toward his senatorial aspiration.

Alli sought the support of the chairmen on Friday in Ibadan, while addressing the party chairmen from the 11 local government in Oyo Central Senatorial District.

The senatorial hopeful, fondly called AWA, commended their steadfastness, loyalty, and grassroots commitment, describing them as the true strength and foundation of the APC across Oyo Central.

He said that the APC remained a united family built on shared values and mutual respect, adding that his aspiration was aimed at deepening service and strengthening the party’s progressive ideals.

Alli lauded the current senator representing the district for his service under the APC, stressing that his mission was not to oppose but to engage and build on existing achievements for the good of the people.

According to him, my desire to represent Oyo Central in the Senate stemmed from a passion to serve and contribute to the success of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.

He promised stronger and more visible representation, people-driven legislation, and laws that would support farmers, traders, and youths while ensuring infrastructural projects that improve livelihoods across the district.

Alli urged the party chairmen to see his aspiration as a shared vision rooted in trust, loyalty and service, assuring that his campaign would unite rather than divide the party.

He reaffirmed his total loyalty to the APC at all levels, pledging to represent Oyo Central Senatorial District with dignity, honesty, and a deep commitment to the progress of the party and the people.

Among those present at the meeting were Dr. Joshua Oyebamiji, the Senatorial Chairman, Mrs Adeyemo, the Senatorial Women Leader, Mr Oyebode Akanni (Surulere), Joel Olagunju(Ogo-Oluwa) and Prince Kola Ogundipe(Ona-Ara).

Others are Ademola Adelowo(Atiba), Rasaq Ajisope(Oyo West), Gbade Adeyemo(Afijio), Olawale Olaleye(Egbeda), Yunusa K (Oyo East), Fatai Awoyoola(Lagelu), Waheed Akinleye(Oluyole) and Akinbode (Akinyele).

On his entourage were former Oyo East Local Government Chairman, Ayodele Amuda, former Afijio LCDA Chairman, Tunde Ojo and former Atiba Local Government Chairman, Okeniyi Gbolagade.

Others are former Surulere Local Government Vice-Chairman, Deacon Oluwole Akanbi, former Oyo APC Deputy Youth Leader, Mrs Fausat Alaka, Hon. Wasiu Kadiri and Alhaji Qaseem Okanlawon.
