The stakeholders of Allied Peoples Movement (APM) has adopted Engr. Abu Salam as its consensus candidate for the chairmanship of Ogbomoso North Local Government ahead of the forthcoming local government election in Oyo State.
The party also endorsed Hon. Michael Ajao as its consensus candidate for the vice chairmanship position.
In addition, the APM unveiled its consensus councillorship candidates for the 10 political wards in Ogbomoso North Local Government.
The councillorship candidates are Muraina Taofiq Adekunle (Ward 1), Ebenezer Ajala (Ward 2), Adedayo Fagbemi (Ward 3), Kareem Atanda (Ward 4), Areo Sunday Amos (Ward 5), Sikiru Tewobola (Ward 6), Sodiq Noah (Ward 7), Abdulazeez Waheed (Ward 8), Alabi Deji Pelumi (Ward 9), and Akanbi Segun Paul (Ward 10).
The emergence of the consensus candidates is expected to strengthen the party’s preparations for the forthcoming local government election, with supporters expressing confidence that the team will consolidate on the achievements of the outgoing administration
