Aides of the President of the Senate, Senator Godswill Akpabio, on Tuesday paid a courtesy visit to his wife, Dr. Unoma Godswill Akpabio, at the newly commissioned PIO Football Academy, Airport Road, Uyo, Akwa Ibom State.
The academy, which operates a Cambridge-based curriculum, is designed to nurture excellence in both academics and sports. It caters to students in Years 7 through 11, preparing them for international qualifications while also developing pathways for professional sports careers.
With a vision to promote sports and academic excellence among young adolescents for both local and global competitiveness, the institution provides standard facilities to ensure students maximise their potential.
Its mission also includes blending sports with academics through a Cambridge-certified curriculum, as well as creating opportunities for international partnerships and sponsorships.
