The Chairman of the occasion at the 6th anniversary celebration of ISEYA Media, Dr. Nureni Adeniran, has described the Chief of Staff to Oyo State Governor, Bashorun Akinwale Solomon Akinwole, popularly known as Wolekanle, as a man deeply committed to the service of humanity.
Adeniran made the commendation during the anniversary celebration, which also featured the 50th birthday celebration of the Chief Executive Officer of ISEYA Media, Mrs. Ayodeni Aluko, and an award presentation ceremony held at the Local Government Staff Training School Hall, Secretariat, Ibadan.
According to a press release issued by the Director of Education and Social Services, Mrs. Funke Foluso Lala, Adeniran said Wolekanle had distinguished himself through his performance in various responsibilities entrusted to him, culminating in his appointment as Chief of Staff to Governor Seyi Makinde.
He expressed confidence in the ability of the Chief of Staff to achieve greater heights, praying for more elevations, successes and accomplishments in his future endeavours.
Wolekanle, who was represented at the event by the Part-time Commissioner, Honourable Christianah Nike Arewa, received an Award of Excellence in recognition of his outstanding contributions to public service.
The Permanent Secretary of the Oyo State Local Government Service Commission, Pastor Adeola Omoyeni Oduola, led members of the commission’s management team to the event in support of Arewa.
Other members of the delegation included the Head of Local Government Administration, Mr. Adedayo Faith Solaja; Director of Finance and Supplies, Alhaji Gbola Badiru Adedokun; Director of Budget, Planning, Research and Statistics, Prince Rasheed Olabiyi; Director of Education and Social Services, Mrs. Funke Foluso Lala; Internal Auditor, Alhaja Modinat Adeleke; and Deputy Director of Administration and General Services, Alhaji Olalekan Jelili Alade.
The event brought together dignitaries and stakeholders to celebrate ISEYA Media’s six years of operation, honour its CEO on her 50th birthday and recognise individuals for their contributions to society.
