Association of Yoruba Youth Development in Mokwa Local Government Area of Niger State is set to organize first Culture Day.
An event which is aimed at showcasing the cultural heritage is themed the “Panacea to falling Standard of Yoruba Cultural Heritage”.
According to a statement signed by Yemi Sodeeq, Media and Publicity Secretary YYDM, Niger State Alhaji Abdulrafiu Adejare,the President of Yoruba Community in Niger State will be the Guest Speaker to deliver a lecture on the aforementioned theme.
According to the President of the Group, Comrade Abdulrahman Bolaji ,he said the event is organised to reignite the spirit of the fading cultural heritage of the Oduduwa Nation.
“This event is aimed at showcasing the Cultural heritage of Yoruba as one of the largest ethnic group in the southern part of Nigeria”
He added that” the event will also serve as a rendezvous for all the Yoruba living within and outside Niger State and even beyond.
The first of its kind event will be attracting Yoruba Community leaders , Yoruba Youth Structures and other socio-cultural organisation across the Northern part of the Country.
Coming up on 4th of April , 2020, the event will hold at Nasfat Secondary School, Mokwa Niger State.
