Legendary professional wrestler Hulk Hogan, whose real name was Terry Bollea, has died at the age of 71.
His representative confirmed that he suffered cardiac arrest and was unable to speak due to damaged trachea
Hogan rose to global stardom in the 1980s and 1990s, becoming the defining figure of professional wrestling with his flamboyant red and yellow outfits, “Real American” entrance theme, and a devoted fanbase known as “Hulkamaniacs.”
Debuting in 1977, Hogan’s influence extended beyond the ring, making him a pop culture icon. He continued wrestling into his 50s and remained one of WWE’s most recognized figures.
In 2018, he was reinstated into the WWE Hall of Fame after a previous ejection over a racist remark.
