The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate in Oyo North Senatorial district in the last general elections, Hon Akinwale Solomon Akinwole has felicitated with Christian faithful on the occasion of Easter celebration.
In his Easter message, Wolekanle as he is foundly called, harps on the need for unity, sacrifice for societal development and urged nigerians to always reflect on the sacrifice of Jesus Christ.
” The message of Easter celebration is the need for us to sacrifice ourselves and belief in the power of resurrection of Jesus Christ who died so that we can live.
“Wolekanle maintained that individuals must be ready to imbibe the spirit of sacrifice and do what will promote the true image of Nigeria and contribute to the development of the country.’
The PDP senatorial candidate called on the Christian faithful to use the occasion of Easter celebration to pray for the country and promote peace
He added that the fight to chart a new path in leadership representation in Oyo North is still on course and assured the good people of the senatorial district that their mandate will be retrieved
