A chieftain of Peoples Democratic Party PDP in Oyo state Mogaji Joseph Tegbe has urged christians to take a moment to reflect on the significance of this period and the message it carries.

Tegbe, the party’s Senatorial candidate in the last election while felicitating with Nigerians on this year’s Easter Celebrations, which commemorates the crucifixion of Jesus Christ and climaxes at his resurrection

According to a statement persony signed by him , He said ‘Easter offers us a solemn reminder of the ultimate sacrifice Jesus made for humanity. It is a period of introspection and reflection, where we contemplate the values of selflessness, sacrifice, and compassion.”

“I believe that these values are essential to our society. We must be willing to make sacrifices for the greater good, to put the needs of others before our own, and to show compassion towards those who are less fortunate. These values are at the heart of our democracy and are what make our community strong and resilient.”
