Prominent politician and philanthropist, Bashorun Akinwale Akinwole, popularly known as Wolekanle, has expressed his heartfelt condolences to the Okere of Saki, Oba Khalid Olabisi, over the death of his wife, Queen Waliyat Olabisi.

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) chieftain also sympathized with victims of the recent tragic accident in Ogbomoso, which claimed several lives and left many injured.

In a statement issued on Wednesday Wolekanle described the two incidents as deeply saddening events that have thrown the entire Oyo State into mourning.

He commiserated with the bereaved families and prayed for the quick recovery of the injured. “The news was devastating. I sympathize with the Okere of Sakiland, the families affected by the accident, and the people of Ogbomoso. May God grant the departed eternal rest and give their loved ones the strength to bear the loss,” he said.
