Member of the House of Representatives, Hon. Olamijuwonlo Ayodeji Alao-Akala, has expressed deep sorrow over the tragic accident that occurred in the Takie area of Ogbomoso on Tuesday morning, leading to multiple casualties.

According to reports, the accident happened when a trailer driver lost control, causing the vehicle to crash into a commercial tricycle (Keke Napep) and nearby trading stalls.

Several passengers and traders were affected in the unfortunate incident, resulting in a heartbreaking loss of lives.

In a condolence message, Alao-Akala, who is also the Chairman of the House Committee on Youths and Chairman of the Young Parliamentarians, sympathized with the bereaved families. He described the incident as devastating and prayed for divine comfort for those who lost their loved ones.

“I extend my heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims of the tragic accident that occurred this morning in Takie, Ogbomoso. It is truly a heartbreaking and sorrowful event. I pray that God, in His infinite mercy, comforts the bereaved families and grants them the strength to endure this profound loss,” the lawmaker said.
