A Governorship aspirant in Osun State under the platform of KOWA Party, Prof. Oluseyi Fabiyi has vowed to transform the state into a better condition within two years is voted in.
Prof Fabiyi made the pledge while addressing party members at his residence in Osogbo, saying the people of Osun are missing but that he is ready to take them to the promised land.
Fabiyi who lectures in Kampala International university, Uganda, thereby urged the people of the state not to sell their votes for a few pennies or bags of rice.
“My people in Osun State are missing, I observe that education in Osun State has collapsed due to government inability to pay salary and because the state is more or less a civil service state. I observe that poverty in Osun State is so large and so obvious.
“Aregbesola’s administration is lopsided, only developing city roads. I believe the flyover in Gbongan is very unnecessary.
He is just building schools, the teachers are not properly renumerated, some are collecting half salary, some 75%, schools are not buildings and none of those schools have standard laboratories, Aregbesola is just showing off not minding proper laid down plans.”
Fabiyi who said he is an Home based and grass root politician, added that the only way to improve Osun is to look away from the Federal allocation because there is nothing there again.
Relating his agenda which he termed TEA with T standing for Technology group, innovation and Development, E for Entrepreneurial Empowerment and A for Agricultural Modernization, the KOWA party Gubernatorial aspirant said with the fear of God and the agenda, Osun’s economic would be transformed.
“I urge the people of Osun not to sell their votes, vote for noble character and achievements. We cannot continue to complain and that is why I present myself to change the State fortune. I feel like crying to see graduates sweeping floor, that destroys their dignity. There will be rapid change in a matter of two years if people vote for me.”
