A federal lawmaker representing Oyo north,senatorial district at the upper chamber of the National Assembly has explained that continuity of the government of All Progressives Congress APC in the state will enhance rapid growth and development of the state.
The re-elected senator while speaking with various groups in Oke Ogun and Ogbomoso during a ‘thank you tour’ of the senatorial district said the state should not be governed by the opposition party because aligning with the federal government will be difficult unlike having the same party at the state and federal .
‘ We have a lot to benefit if APC continue to govern the state, apart from utilizing the opportunity to facilitate developmental projects from then federal government and quickly annex funds meant for the development of our dear state which a new comer from the opposition party may not be opportune to do.”
” Also the eleven federal lawmakers from APC would collaborate with the state government to foster economic development, employment opportunities and job creation for our teeming youth as well as facilitating more federal presence in the state.”
While thanking the people of Oyo North for voting APC during the presidential and National Assembly election, Buhari urge them to replicate same in the coming gubernatorial and state election.
