Aare Ona Kakanfo of Yorubaland, Chief Gani Adams, has expressed readiness to be part of the process to institute the next formidable administration in the State of Osun.

Adams, who promised  to follow the elections “keenly from the sidelines,” clarified this was because of what he called “the enduring Yoruba Interest.”

A statement by the Gboyega Oyetola Campaign Organisation, signed by Sulaiman Salawudeen, clarified Adams warned the Agenda must not be politicised under any guise and for whatever reason, acknowledging the strategic position of the State in Yoruba affairs.

The foremost Yoruba leader spoke during his visit to the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate in the 22nd September 2018 governorship election in the State, Mr Gboyega Oyetola,in his Ileri Oluwa Campaign office, Osogbo.

Oyetola expressed gratitude to Adams for the visit, assuring he (Oyetola) was already committed to the ideals of what he called ‘Omoluabi’ which, according to him, offered a summary of the Yoruba leader’s “Yoruba Agenda” vision.

Oyetola maintained he wouldsustain and consolidate sterling development process recorded by the Rauf Aregbesolaadministration across many sectors of the economy if he won the election, adding “Iwould, even in doing this, seek to break new grounds that would be the pride of the Yoruba.”
