Dear comrades, avid supporters and faithful members of our great party – the All Progressives Congress (APC), with all sense of responsibility and respect, I withdrew from the Oyo State APC 2019 Gubernatorial primary election held yesterday.

After various consultations with our party leaders, this tough decision was taken in the best interest of our progressive party and its leadership; to promote oneness and unity of our great party.

I am truly honoured to have embarked on such a remarkable journey with you all. Our tours of the wards and local governments have stoked my faith in our great State, and I am confident that our message of consolidation and sustainable development will live on to #MakeOyoFirstAgain.
