What Former President Obasanjo Told Unity Forum Leaders in Abeokuta

Members of Unity Forum, a breakaway faction of the All Progressives Congress, APC in Oyo  state on Thursday visited former president Olusegun Obasanjo  in Abeokuta.

The essence of the meeting was to discuss the political development  in Oyo state and  their move to be part of African Democratic Congress ADC .

The  decision to joined  ADC by Unity forum was reached at a meeting held  few weeks ago in Ibadan.

Some of the leaders  at the meeting Includes :Chairman of the Unity Forum , Alhaji Alimi, Chief Busari Adebisi, Hon Kola Balogun, Former Deputy governor of Oyo state , Alhaji Taofeek Arapaja, Former SSG, Chief Olayiwola Olakojo, Hon Wasiu Olatubosun, Hon Funmi Arulogun, Chief Remi Olaniyan.

The former president while addressing the gathering spoke for about an hour and concluded with a promise to back them with moral and financial support.

He stressed the need for them to be strong and determine in their quest to send APC led government away in 2019.

Some of the leaders at the meeting expresses optimism that Obasanjo’s intervention will further strengthen the party  and boost their  chance of  sending APC away in 2019.
