A chieftain of the People’s Democratic Party in Oyo state, Hon Akinwale Solomon Akinwole has urged the people of Oyo state to guide against all forms of election rigging and manipulations by desperate oppositions in the state.

“Just like they did during the last election, they are already perfecting plans to change the wishes of the people of the Oyo state for selfish reasons.’ He added

Wolekanle who was the Senatorial candidate for the party in the February 25th Presidential and National Assembly election said people should comply with the electoral laws and make sure they monitor their votes up to the collation centers.

While maintaining that re-electing Engineer Oluseyi Makinde is the best for Oyo state at this time, Akinwole said the numerous achievements of the governor and welfarist style of governance have placed Oyo state on a better pedestal and shaped it for a better future.

Wolekanle while speaking with journalists during a rally organized by stakeholders in Ogbomoso on Wednesday expressed optimism that Gov Makinde will win the 2nd term.

” As you can see, we are fully prepared for the election, Ogbomoso people will vote massively for him and the  PDP House of Assembly candidates same with the people in other parts of the state because he is a governor with a caring and developmental heart, he is not just passionate about developing the state, he is making Oyo people happy as they are enjoying good governance”.

Wolekanle urged electorates to disregard the antics and lies of the opposition against Seyi Makinde which he said is a plot to hoodwink them in their desperate bid to return Oyo state to Egypt.

” I am not dampened by what happened in the last election, I and my team are solidly behind governor Makinde’s re-election and I believe he would win convincingly.
