Says NANTA Election holds February 2024

A travel expert , Prince Ajibade Olaleye has harped on the need for government to appoint and engage experienced Professionals in tourism and aviation industry.

Olaleye, the Zonal Public Relations Officer of National Association of Nigeria Travel Agencies NANTA western zone said this in an interview with journalists in Ibadan.

Olaleye said having people with little or no knowledge about the sector at the helms of affair in the sector will make implementation of policies and developing transformationary ideas more difficult affecting the advancement of the industry.

He also urges the government to ensure adequate funding and proper review of policies in the Aviation sectors to favour local and international travels and domestic tourism.

Olaleye while speaking on NANTA added that the Association being the only recognized professional body recognized by Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority NCAA is poised to collaborate with the government in shaping the sector

He added that February next year we will hold for both zone and national offices at the association and we want our members to participate actively in the election to vote for someone who can engage his personality with the Airlines and Government to make the aviation policy to be favorable to the stakeholders and general public.
