Members of the National Association of Nigeria Travel Agencies NANTA have been urged to support the new executive members of the professional body led by Mrs Susan Akporaiye
Dr Olatokunbo Dagunduro gave this urge in his remark at his innauguration as the National Treasurer of the Union held at the Secretariat of the Western Zone of the Association in Ibadan.

Dagunduro who was the immediate past Vice president of association said he would represent the interest of the zone and the entire association and ensure quality and transparent leadership that will take the association to a greater height
He said members should ensure prompt payment of their annual subscription and play active roles in moving the association forward
“Part of my plan is to get COVID-19 Back up for members of the association in all the zones because i knew the pandemics has really affected and still affecting our jobs and I am optimistic that we will survive it
Mrs Kemi Akanni Aluko,a member of Board of Trustees of NANTA while inaugurating Dagunduro congratulated the Western Zone for having him as a member of the National executives of the association and calls for more support for him
“I know him as a responsible leader and active member of the association, let the support from the Western Zone be firm and solid, pay your annual subscription so that he will have the the courage to challenge other zones, you will get more from National if we pay your subscription on time ”
Aluko who also lamented the current situation in the world and its negative impact on travel industry urged said ” It has been very tough and one cannot say when the pandemic would end , i want to implore everybody to engage in something that will not take away the Job from you, you need to diversify ao that you can feed your family and maintain body and soul, i am optimistic that things will bounce back soon”
“Some of us have enjoyed this industry, gone are the days when they take us to seminar abroad, they still beg us to attend but now such opportunity are no longer available, the online ticketing has even affected our jobs, individuals no longer come to us for tickets because they can do it online, they only contacted us when they have problems , so there is a need for you to diversify and get something that will keep you on the job pending the time that the situation will change for better.
Vice President of the zone, Pastor Hezekiah Afolabi in his speech congratulated Dagunduro in his inauguration as the National Treasurer of the Association and wish him trememdious success in his representation of the zone.
