President Bola Tinubu has approved a restructuring of the State House media and communications team to boost the effectiveness of the government’s communication strategy.

As part of the changes, Mr. Sunday Dare, previously appointed as Special Adviser on Public Communication and National Orientation, has been re-designated as Special Adviser, Media and Public Communications.

Similarly, Mr. Daniel Bwala, initially announced as Special Adviser, Media and Public Communications, will now serve as Special Adviser, Policy Communication.

The Presidency clarified that the three Special Advisers—covering Media and Public Communications, Policy Communication, and Information and Strategy—will collectively act as government spokespersons. This collaborative structure aims to ensure clarity and consistency in the communication of government policies and decisions.
