The Polytechnic Ibadan Releases  Academic Calendar New Session

The Authorities of The Polytechnic, Ibadan, have released the calendar for the 1st semester for the 2024/2025 academic session of the Institution with fresh students resuming on Monday, 14th October, 2024.

A statement from the Institution signed by Mr Soladoye Adewole, the Public Relations Officer on behalf of the Acting Registrar, Mr Joseph Adewunmi Ogunjimi disclosed that returning students are to resume on Sunday, 20th of October.

A five-day orientation programme for the fresh students will hold from Monday, 14th October to Friday, 18th October, while registration for all students will hold from Monday, 14th October to Friday, 1st November.

The statement further disclosed that a grace of one week from Saturday, 2nd November to Friday, 8th November will be allowed for late registration, which will attract penalty.

Lectures will commence from Monday, 4th November 2024 to Friday, 7th February 2025. A one week revision exercise commencing from Monday, 10th February to Friday, 14th February, will follow the 14 weeks of rigorous lectures.

The first semester examination will commence on Monday, 17th February, and end on Saturday, 8th March 2025.

The Statement advised all students to abide by the rules and regulations of the institution as any student that violates the rules and regulations will face disciplinary action.

The Management in the statement also advised the students to key into the loan scheme for students in tertiary institutions under the Nigerian Education Loan Fund(NELFUND).

Details on the loan is available online as well as the Institution’s Student’s Affairs’s office.
