Detained Yoruba right activist chief Sunday Adeyemo, popularly known as Sunday Igboho was not taking to court in Benin republic as envisaged by people

His supporters and allies in Ibadan hold rally demanding for his immediate release by the government of Benin Republic

Igboho who was arrested with his wife on monday night while travelling to Germany through cotonou ariport has since be detained at BRIGADE DE CRIMINEL in Berlier.

He was suppose to appear before a court today for an extradition order

According to a source, yoruba people in Benin republic and Nigeria had in the morning besiege the court protesting and asking for unconditional releass of Igboho who was declared wanted in Nigeria by the DSS before attempting to flee to Germany through contonou

His lawyer chief Yomi Aliyu SAN
while speaking with journalist yesterday said Igboho is going through harrowing torture and pains, having been put in chains in a police cell

Aliyu though maintained that the extradition order being sought for by the Nigerian authorities may not likely sail through because of the status of his status a political offender who enjoys immunity against extradition
