Mr Sunday Dare, an indigene of Ogbomoso in Oyo state has send Save our Soul Letter. SOS to the Minister of Work, Housing and power Babatunde Fashola  ( SAN) over the abandoned  Oyo-Ogbomoso  new express road

Dare an Executive Commissioner in charge of stakeholders’ management at the Nigeria Communication Commission, NCC in a letter expreses concern over the slow phase of work on the project which was initiated 18 years ago.

It would be recall that Ogbomoso indigenes stage a peaceful rally on August 1  to express their grievances and demand speedy completion of the road.

They claimed that over 14,000 people have been killed on the road in the last years

The former chief of staff and media adviser to Asiwaju Bola Tinubu told OYO INSIGHT that “I received rock solid assurances that work has indeed commenced on both the old and new roads.,” thanking the minister and President Muhammadu Buhari.

He, however, assured that “We shall however monitor closely work progress and report back.”
