It would be recall that the Staff union begin a warning strike last week,

An eye witness told our reporter that
“we were attacked at the ‘Poly Microfinance Bank’ chased back to our hostels with canes, Lectures were also not allowed to commence as our lecturers were locked outside the school compound, the union tends to be very angry, we urge the government to respond to their demand urgently, we want our academics to move on, we can’t avoid to see our time being wasted”he said.

Also the H.O.D of the Mass Communication Department, Mr. Olusoji Olatunji while reacting to the development expresses dissatisfaction in the way the government reacts to the complains of the Union, adding that the strike would have negative effects on academic activities in the school.

“The NASU were angry and they refused lectures to move on, they are wasting the students’ time” which will affect the academic calendar, unfortunately the deadline for this has not been predicted, till God says. He said
