Stakeholders Laud Wolekanle Over Educational Support Programm

Stakeholders in the Educational sector in Ogbomoso including parents teachers and students have commended Hon Akinwale Akinwole for purchasing UTME forms for 62 people and organizing free lessons for 250 students and CBT training.

The APC chieftain in Ogbomoso North recently distributed UTME forms to 62 students who passed the Pre UTME exams conducted after the lesson.

Akinbiyi one of the beneficiaries said , ” Hon Wolekanle really tried for us, everything was given to us freely, teachers were also good they put in their best in ensuring that we are equipped with neccesary details needed to pass the exams”

Elizabeth Adetutu, who emerged the overall best student appreciated the kind gestures of the philanthropist and prayed for renewed grace to continue putting smiles on the faces of the hopeless and downtrodden.

” It was like I’m dreaming. 62 successful participants were given free UTME forms. The lesson was equally free with writing materials inclusive of the ones we used for exams. He has equally organised free Computer Based Test (CBT) training for us. Some of us who passed the exams but had already bought the UTME forms out of fear have equally been refunded with the sum of Five Thousand Naira (#5,000:00) each. In fact, this is great and I pray God will continue to uplift him higher and higher”, the best student said.

The project cordinator Tunji Alabi told our reporter that, the focus of the projection of the initiator and financier is to prepare them for UTME exams and gained admission into tertiary institutions

“During the coaching we ensure decent dressing , utmost seriousness of students and try to imbibe some sort of morals into the participants to be able to face the challenges ahead.”

Parents of some of the beneficiaries commended Hon Akinwale for his gesture ans urged him not to relent in his effort to helt the downtrodden.

Hon Akinwole Akinwale while speaking on the initiative said ” One of the way through which we can help the society to grow is to groom the younger ones in a right way and assist them to grow, this idea has been on for a while but se decided to expand it because of the situation of the country

” i realized many people couldn’t go beyond secondary school because of fund, many have failed JAMB ssverally because no serious preparation and with this many greatdream and vision were shattered and aborted so i decided to start in my own little way to help this younger ones and if everybody that is endowed is involved in something like this the society will be better
