The traditional ruler urged the Inspector-General to approve the establishment of 10 new police stations in strategic locations across Ogbomosoland and ensure they are adequately staffed and equipped to improve security coverage and response to emergencies.
He also appealed for the revival of the Police College in Ogbomoso, saying the institution would not only enhance police training and capacity but also stimulate the local economy and reinforce Ogbomoso’s strategic role in Nigeria’s security architecture.
The Soun assured the Inspector-General of the readiness of the people of Ogbomosoland to collaborate with the Nigeria Police Force through community policing, intelligence sharing and other initiatives aimed at improving security.
