In his bid to position Ogbomoso for economy prosperity, the Soun of Ogbomoso Oba Afolabi Ghandi Olaoye, Orumogege 111, on Tuesday met with the Management of Bank of Industry in Lagos.

Oba Olaoye who was received by the Managing Director, Mr. Olusi, and the Directors of the Bank of Industry (BOI) shared his twenty years vision for Ogbomoso to see how they can also be of help in make the vision a reality.

In a post on his facebook page, the monarch wrote; “The purpose of this visit was to discuss my 25 years vision for Ogbomoso Town and to seek BOI’s support in making the Vision a reality.

“During the meeting, I shared some of the achievements made so far and stressed the ongoing need to address the challenges faced by the residents of Ogbomoso. ”

Oba Olaoye added that “The BOI team applauded the progress made, particularly in improving water access in the town. The MD and Directors expressed their full commitment to partnering with the people of Ogbomoso to enhance the local economy.”

“They introduced a new initiative called RAPID (Rural Area Innovative Program for Development), a financing program for micro and small businesses as well as community groups, highlighting that Ogbomoso Town would be a beneficiary of this program.”
