Hon Segun Dokun Odebunmi, Chairman House of Reps Committee on Information, National Orientiation, Ethics and Value has described the signing of Not too young to run bill into law by president Muhammadu Buhari as a development that will enhance youth participation in politics.

 

Just as he cautions the youth to be mindful of whom they will support in politics  so that they won’t present  politicians with shaddy character or low quality

Hon Odebunmi while congratulating Nigerian youth, especially the protagonists of the bill also lauds president Muhammadu Buhari for rekindling the hope of youth in the political system of the nation

 

” President Buhari’s action is another assurance for the youth, it is a sign that the president is concerned about the future of the younger generation whom he is preparing for the future.”

He also commended the leadership of the National Assembly for their efforts in ensuring that the bill scale through, “ This is the beauty of democracy, it’s a prove that we are growing

The lawmaker who represents Surulere/Ogo Oluwa Federal constituency at the lower chamber of the National Assembly however urge the youth to always allow people with integrity and moderate qualification to represents them at any level of the government’

“Presenting a younger blood with integrity will create a platform and springboard for better society, and a beautiful future for the country” he said.
