Seyi Makinde Receiving Royal blessings from Olubadan at his palace this morning

Peoples Democratic Party PDP gubernatorial Candidate in the next election in Oyo state , Engineer Seyi Makinde on Monday visited the palace of Olubadan of Ibadan Oba Saliu Akanmu Adetunji, Aje Ogunguniso 1 to receive Royal Blessings from the foremost traditional Ruler

Makinde who was accompanied by the state chairman of PDP Alhaji Kunmi Mustapha, Oyo South Senatorial District, Dr Kola Balogun and other party stalwart also visited the the grave yard of Late Ibadan political warlord, Late Lamidi Ariyibi Adedibu.

Lamidi Adedibu during his life time was a strong man of Ibadan politics and one of the prominent PDP leaders in the country.

At Adedibu’s house, at Molete, the crew were recieved by Alhaja Bosede Adedibu widow of the late politician and special prayers were offered for the repose of the late politician , Victory of PDP at the polls and peaceful election in the state .

Makinde while speaking at Olubadan Palace promise to respect and engage traditional institution in the state and. banish poverty from the state.

Olubadan however pray for his success and urge him not to involve or encourage violence and attack on people during the election.
