Ibadan.

The Oyo State Police Command have arrested Three (3) suspected criminals in connection with the viral Killings in Akinyele Local Government, Ibadan, Oyo State capital.

The suspects who are Sunday Shodipe, 19, Adedokun Yinusa Ajani,50, and Shehu Usman,20, were unveiled by the Oyo State commissioner of Police, CP. Chuks Enwonwu during a press briefing held at the state police headquarters, Eleyele, Ibadan.

Recall that there have been lots of Killings recorded in the Ojoo – Moniya – Akinyele axis of Ibadan which notable include the death Of Bello Baraka, an 18 years old undergraduate that was killed on the 1st of June, 2020 at Oloro Area of Akinyele.

Moreover, One Wasilat Adeola of Aba Odo Area, Moniya was killed on the 27th of June, Grace Oshiagwu of Idi Ori community was killed on the 13th of June, and many other cases in this area.

The mastermind of the Killings, a 19 years old Sunday Shodipe while confessing to the crime revealed he has carried out 6 operation prior to his arrest.
