The founder of the One Love Family, Satguru Maharaj Ji, has defended Chief Sunday Adeyemo popularly known as Sunday Igboho amid calls for his arrest by the Department of State Services, DSS, describing the activist as a committed voice for human rights.
Reacting to the controversy surrounding alleged remarks credited to Chief Sunday Igboho, Maharaj Ji said the situation was being exaggerated, stressing that expressing strong opinions on national issues should not automatically attract threats of arrest or intimidation.
He maintained that CHIEF Sunday Igboho has consistently positioned himself as a defender of his people, adding that his actions and statements should be viewed within the context of advocacy rather than incitement.
According to Maharaj Ji, democracy thrives when citizens are allowed to speak freely, noting that attempts to silence voices like Chief Sunday Igboho could undermine the principles of justice, fairness, and freedom of expression.
Maharaj Ji also called on Nigerians to remain calm and avoid politicizing the controversy, emphasizing the need for dialogue, tolerance, and peaceful coexistence across all regions of the country.
We can’t sit down and watch people who are driven by religion, tribal and ethnic sentiments and complete disregard for the rule of law and acceptable national consensus and ethos on power shift and who kept mute throughout the deadly and murderous attacks by the AK47 herdsmen destroying farms, attacking farmers in Benue and Southern States in order to drive farmers from their farms to create food shortage/social incoherence and as a weapon against the governing party that has done so well and better compared with past ones, like the saying … ‘half bread is better than none’, made the karmic laws of nature to nail the coffin of Atiku Abubakars’ political struggle to become President in his background.
From the above, it is not strange to find Peter Obi crying like a wolf in a sheep skin following Atiku to want to break the power shift rule that has worked well in our own democratic process, particularly in the southeast who did not vote for the President during the last elections, instead of supporting President Tinubu as a liberated blackman freed from, religious prison that has blinded our conscience to know that this opium of the masses is obsolete and outlived by evolution in the modern world where power is measured by developed and advanced human capacity and material transformation to sustain the polity and proletariat.
In the light of the above and since both don’t mean well for peace, progress and stability in the land, they have no business here where the people suffered and would not want to repeat the experience of the pain and agony of the 1962 political crisis in Western Nigeria and the Biafran war that ended in 1971 and consecrated in 2023.
Satguru Maharaj Ji reiterated that, Mr. President will never direct the DSS to detain Chief Sunday Igboho as is being speculated by the opposition who have said and done worst things than this young able and sincere Nigerian had, and who has seen the hatred against the President just because the President wants Nigeria’s money to be used to take care of Nigerians, not shipped abroad to keep our economy stagnant.
Mr. President is more advanced in global politics than all his predecessors who talked but could not transform the wishes and the desires of the Blackman into realities, and so Mr. President must do everything to protect Chief Sunday Igboho from the opposition shylocks who don’t mean anything well for this nation.
The utterances of the opposition group cannot be entertained in countries such as Russian, Britain, USA, Japan, Germany, Italy, France, Korea, India, Pakistan etc. but President Tinubu is so good in his own way and during the last three plus years he has catapulted Igbos into the mainstream of the Nigeria’s political landscape, decentralized power supply, NELFUND, etc., and today, that The President has shown that he is a true Father and Mother to about 31 State Governors tells you that any opposition is a failure. In addition, any Governor who fails to vote President Tinubu to make Nigeria and Africa great again, should retire anytime from now for being heartless, unpatriotic, and unnationalistic.
The Living Perfect Master concluded that Chief Sunday Igboho should be recognized for his role in raising concerns about justice and community protection, describing him as a figure driven by conviction and a desire to defend the rights of the people because it epitomizes peace, Love and Harmony like Mr. President.
In a separate message, Maharaj Ji congratulated President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on the occasion of his 74th birthday, praising his resilience and leadership in guiding the nation through challenging times.
He expressed confidence in President Tinubu’s vision for Nigeria, noting that the president’s policies and leadership approach are geared toward long-term development and national stability.
Maharaj Ji therefore urged Nigerians, particularly the youths and students not to bother about the negative western style information war against the President, to continue supporting Tinubu and to vote for him in the 2027 general elections, stressing that continuity in leadership would help sustain progress and strengthen unity across the country, especially where we know that the nations problem was caused by lack of a leadership that can unite the tribes together till the arrival of President Ahmed bola Tinubu to make our unity possible.
He went on to commend the efforts of the ruling party, noting that the All Progressives Congress has demonstrated commitment to reform and national development despite prevailing challenges, by the opposition parties to make Tinubu’s Government ungovernable.
Satguru Maharaj Ji stated that the party’s focus on infrastructure, economic recovery, and security reflects a deliberate attempt to reposition Nigeria for sustainable growth.
According to him, while no administration is without its shortcomings, the progress recorded under the current leadership should not be overlooked, because it is second to none in the African Continent, time will tell
He urged critics to adopt a more constructive approach, emphasizing that nation-building requires collective responsibility rather than constant division and political hostility.
Maharaj Ji further encouraged Nigerians to remain patient and optimistic, expressing belief that ongoing policies will yield positive results in due time.
He reiterated that unity, cooperation, and continued support for the government would play a crucial role in achieving lasting peace, stability, and prosperity for the country.
