A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress APC in Oyo state,  Engr Open Salawu has described defection by members into another party as good riddance to bad rubbish

Engineer  Salawu is  reacting to the gales of defection that hitted the party in the last few days.

Open Salawu in a statement signed said “Progressive don’t leave their party. It is an ideology and principle that we believe in and we live by it.”

“We don’t feel threat in any circumstances because we are always in control of the situation”

.He maintained further that It’s quite unfortunate that in our midst we have some few fair weather participants and it’s very easy for such elements to exhibit their creeds.

He however urged member of APC in Oyo State to remain calm and look forward to the genuine reconciliation by the committee saddled with the responsibility.
