Controversial singer Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has surrendered to the Lagos State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID) in Yaba.
The Lagos State Police Command confirmed his surrender, stating that the Ogun State Police Command had been notified and would take him into custody.
Portable was declared wanted for allegedly leading a violent attack on Ogun State government officials during an enforcement exercise on February 5, 2025. While nine of his associates were arrested at the scene, the singer initially evaded police summons, leading to a court order for his arrest.
A police source confirmed that Portable is currently being transported to Ogun State, where he is expected to face further questioning and possible charges.
