The Neighbours of the Polytechnic Ibadan student, Oromidayo Daniel who reportedly died during suspected sexual encounter has denied that he didn’t die due to sex enhancement.

This was disclosed by Oromidayo’s neighbours during an interview with National Insight reporters. They denied that contrary to the report been carried around that Oromidayo Daniel during sex, they vehemently said that no drug enhancement was found, and that it can only be traced to the fumes of generator.

A neighbour with name withheld, who doubled as Oromidayo’s  neighbour while narrating what happened said  “On Sunday Oromidayo came to meet me that his brother died, he was sober and I condoled him as he was about to travel to Ijebu. So about 8pm in the night, I decided to check him whether he is back from ijebu, so i waited for him at his balcony when i didn’t see him. At around 8:30pm he returned home with a lady who seems to be of the same school with him. Again, at around 9: 30pm, i saw another lady (Aramide Adeleke) who came to greet him also. So then, I went inside. The second day as i returned from my children’s school, I saw his friends around his balcony, i told them to call me Dayo, then they responded that they have been calling him since morning but he didn’t respond”.

“Another person also told me on that spot that they have been calling him since midnight for a tutorial that he didn’t respond which made them worried. Hence, someone placed his head on the door, and eavesdropped someone was breathing, so we went to call a carpenter who helped us break the door. So as we entered we check for them in the bedroom but couldn’t find them not until we checked the bathroom where we found them stumbled upon each other”.

Responding on whether they saw any sex enhancer around, and what really caused their rumoured death, another neighbor said

“We didn’t find any drug or sex enhancer and that Oromidayo Daniel is not an obvious drinker that he is such a gentle boy. Hence, they noticed that the generator he recently bought was found inside the house which the smoke obviously still was still smelling as at time of the death. So we believe it must have been the smoke of the generator that must have caused the death”.

While also disputing the rumour that it was the water from the shower arm pipe that killed them

She further responded by saying

“there was no shower pipe in the toilet, infact we saw a book on the toilet seat, we saw feces on the ground and foot print around it. So i don’t know where people are seeing the rumours of that. Also people said they had 11 rounds of sex, were they there or counting it for them?”

Recall that a student of the Polytechnic Ibadan Oromidayo Daniel was reportedly said to have died during suspected sexual encounter with a female partner in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital.

Also, it was reported that Aramide Adeleke, the deceased partner who was said to have been in coma, has been confirmed dead at the University College Hospital.
