The Ogun State Police Command has arrested Odukaye Kunle, a man accused of severely brutalizing his son, Boluwatife, in the Ota area of the state.

According to the Force PRO Olumuyiwa Adejoji, Kunle was apprehended following public outcry over the abuse of the child.

The Commissioner of Police, CP Lanre Ogunlowo, has directed that the victim and his mother be taken to the police medical center in Ota for further medical assessment and attention. The Officer-in-Charge of Medical Services in Ogun State has also been ordered to proceed to Ota to oversee the medical evaluation.

Kunle is set to be charged to court on Monday for the assault. The police commended the swift response of the command in ensuring justice for the young victim.
